This is a ticket for 13th line.It costs 3RMB orginally.
Another way, a less expensive way, to get this ticket is to barter for it by the half ticket which costs 5RMB as a whole.
So it is a better idea to buy a 5RMB ticket, get on subway 1st line or 2nd line, and change the line to 13th line. You can save yourself 1RMB.

You can also check the fee of subway at station.

…Please make sure that you have a right ticket and change here.

I recommend you check the line in the Beijing Subway System website.

Ticket Office

Now you are at a ticket office “售票处”.

Check the route you are going to go through and the station you are to go. If the 1st line or 2nd line is your only line you are to use, making a payment 3RMB would be OK. In the case of transferring line to 8th line, you are expected to pay 4RMB. Transfer 13th line? Just pay 5RMB.

When you find a bus stop which is called "$1 bus", it's OK for you to ride on the bus just by $1(RMB1).

It is easily found out by checking the sign "单一票价一元" as you see here.
You ride on the bus, and pay 1RMB by dropping it in a box in the bus.
That'll be fine.
Are you Starbucks freak?

You can enjoy a cup of cofee at Starbucks in Beijing just by dropping in on one of Starbucks or "星巴克咖啡" in China.
